From the collections seen, the 'look' for the summer seems a blend
of Indian and western, of traditional and formal. Most designers
go 'cooler' with easy-on-the-eye
|
|
'happy' colours, light, white
or muted, the silhouettes all emphasise ease with both work-a-day
and evening wear.
The emphasis seems to be on minimalistic, restraint, understatement.
And yet, as far as all five of the collections go, an audience
member put it best: "Simplicity makes a stunning statement,"
this summer!
